Later this year, the Audi lineup will gain an exciting new addition in the form of the 2019 Audi Q8. It will be a small crossover with a coupe-like design that will give it a sporty appearance with dynamic styling. It will also boast impressive technology and a powerful engine.
Though the Q8 shares its structure with the three-row Q7, it has different dimensions. It will be 3.3 inches shorter, 1.4 inches lower, and an inch wider than the Q7. These proportions are highlighted by a wider Singleframe® grille up front and full-width lights at the rear.
The Q8 will be powered by a 340-horsepower 3.0-liter supercharged V6 paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It will come standard with Audi’s Quattro® all-wheel drive system with a 60/40 torque split biased to the rear axle.
Inside, the Q8 has a clean, sophisticated look with a 10.1-inch touchscreen at the top of the dash and an 8.6-inch screen underneath that. Together, these two screens control the climate, audio, and infotainment system. In front of the driver is a 12.3-inch TFT screen that features Audi’s Virtual Cockpit.
The Q8 has plenty of interior space including 21.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. With those seats folded, cargo space expands to 62 cubic feet.
Blending form and function, the all-new Audi Q8 is poised to set the bar higher for luxury SUVs than ever. To learn how and when to get yours, stop into Gossett Audi.
